UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9500.
(11/08/2017) Looks in good shape.
“Selling my dads 1954 military style Willy’s army jeep- Runs good. Asking $10,000 or best offer.
All new military tires, all new brakes and brake parts, all new springs, a new radiator, a new carburetor, a new exhaust, all new windshield frame, windshield gasket and windshield, a new fuel pump, all new shocks, all new leaf springs, all new lights.

looks like a CJ5 tub to me. l admit not being up on the A1’s but don’t recall tail gates, the small fuel filler
or “Jeep” on the side of the tub.
J.R., right you are! I didn’t look closely enough. Also has the glovebox on the passenger side.

Sir
Im interested in purchase of the jeep can you leave your contact information. i would like to purchase it for my Father who served 40 years in the US Army.
hi Brian,
Since the ad expired, we’ll have to wait for the jeep to reappear on Craigslist. I’ll send an email if I see it.
There’s another, more accurate M-38A1 currently listed here: https://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/d/1955-m38a1-military-jeep/6431597534.html
These two are more expensive, but also available: https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/jeep-willy-m38a1/6368975206.html
and

Best of luck!
This one has been relisted: https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/1954-military-style-willys/6514118911.html

This jeep is not a M38a1, but circa 1959 Cj5 painted green .
Yeah, I agree. I saw it had the CJ-5 body. I don’t know why I listed it as an M-38A1. I have updated that 🙂
Sir, Is the jeep for sale or is it sold? Tried to follow the link onCraigs list but it is not active.
Thanks. Bobcat
Hi Bobcat,
Looks like this one has fallen off Craigslist again. I’ve updated the post. If I see it relisted, I will drop you an email. In the meantime, I spotted this one in the same region. Not quite as nice: https://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/d/1953-willys-jeep/6561359981.html
