“1942 Willys GPW that has been completely redone! My son and I built this together from 2010-2016. I moved from Pa to Ohio and no longer use the Willys since my son lives in PA.

Modifications:
Engine: less than 300 miles on engine build.
– Sbc 350 4 bolt main block bored and honed to 383.
– Eagle rotating assembly 8.1 compression ratio
– Comp can boost cam. Extremely drivable can.
– Summit racing 2.02 brand new heads
– B&M 144 supercharger
– Carb spacer
– Custom built carburetor for this set up.
– High flow oval air cleaner
– Brand new aluminum flywheel
– Summit block hugger headers
– Custom dual exhaust headers back with flowmaster.
– Boxed frame to handle sbc
– Custom lowered Motor mounts to keep the center of gravity low.
– Nitrous sniper kit. Bottle & purge hooked up. I never hooked it to the Motor, but I’m theory you could if you bought the spacer plate.
– Aluminum looms
– Edelbrock valve covers
– New distributor, cap, rotor, plugs & wires
– New thermostat

Transmission:
– Muncie 4 speed transmission rebuilt within 300 miles. Transmission numbers show that it was out of a Camaro, Corvette, or chevelle. There is no way to know which.
– Hurst shifter
– Novak adapter for transfer case
– Hydraulic clutch!
– New clutch

Transfer case:
-Dana 18 recently gone through when engine and transmission were built.

Axles:
I got rid of the old dana 27 and 44 And upgraded to narrow track CJ5 axles with much larger brakes.
– Dana 30 with 3.73 gears.
– Dana 44 with 3.73 gears.

Brakes:
– Wilwood dual master cylinder
– All new brake lines run
– New brakes and cylinders all the way around.

Suspension:
– New GPW springs all the way around less than 2,000 miles on them
– New air shocks rear
– New shocks front
– New custom steering stabilizer
– Custom say bar front similar to Jeep Tj
– Chrome traction bars rear. These were installed just for show.
– 31×10.50 R15 super swamper tsl tires with nubs still on them
– Aluminum rims

Fuel:
– High flow fuel pump
-RCI aluminum fuel cell
– Extremely large fuel filter cumstom mounted below tub. I can check brand if needed.

Cooling:
– Griffin 3 core aluminum radiator
– Aluminum shroud
– Pusher & Puller fans that can be operated separately. I typically only ran the puller fan. Overheating is not an issue!
– Custom piping from radiator (behind seats) to engine.
– High flow water pump. 30% over stock!

Body:
– Jeep has a custom roll bar behind the seats.
– Custom seat mounts moved back through rear inner fender so people over 6’4″can fit.
– New steel used in seat location
-Original tub
– New paint 2015 or 2016
– Hood has been cut out for air cleaner.
– Body Work was done prior to paint to remove dents.
– New military head lamps
– Custom turn signals
– New aluminum column with removable steering wheel
– New gauges: tach, temp, speedo, volts oil pressure.
– AEM Air fuel ratio gauge
– Boost gauge
– Gforce racing harnesses
– Fire extinguisher mount
-Battery box mount custom
– New wiper system. Hand operated!
-Fold down windshield original rare.

    A beautiful job! A stroker 383 in a 2000# Jeep is a “handful”, adding a blower is just plain “white knuckles”…
