I emailed, and the owner seemed pretty up-front and reasonable. I asked about condition, and this is what he sent:

I’ve had the truck for about 6 years. When i found it the truck had been sitting for (I was told 18 years) a while. The story I got was the owner had a wreck and from the injuries couldn’t work the clutch. He had a fried who owned a shop and asked for an automatic. Halfway through the conversion the friend passed away. The truck was towed back to the owner in pieces.
I replaced the fuel tank, lines, master cylinder, brakes and lines. Rebuilt the transmission, transfer case, carburetor and timing chain w/ gears. Added electric fan and misting system to help keep it cool. (V8 with a straight 6 radiator) The drivers floor has what I feel is the worst rust. The cab corners I’m almost sure are fiberglass. Had new exhaust put on 2016. The dash is currently out as the master cylinder is under it and when I replaced it I didn’t put it back thinking I would be farther along than I am.
I parked it last year to begin the axle work and have had some unexpected bills.
It tops out at 50mph with 5 mpg on the current axles.

    Thanks for your interest
    Greg
