“1953 Willy’s Jeep CJ3A 4 speed with a chevy V8. Warren overdrive, power steering, full cage rollbar, 10 in brakes, 10 in tires, tilt wheel, rear seat, corvette aluminum cross flow radiator, and a 4 barrel carborator. Not sure on the miles but no more than 15,000. We are asking $7000.00. Jeep has been in the garage its whole life and is in great shape. This is a fun jeep!”

It reminds me of a former club member’s jeep. Dean and Cheryl? Allen? Maybe… Now I might have to have a look in the scrap book…I think there is only one pic of their jeep…
It may already be clear, but Fortuna is a city in Humboldt County (northwestern coastal California). I’ll be up there this weekend if anyone wants me to check it out for them. IMO, $7K is a little steep, but to each their own.

I just noticed this doesn’t have mufflers. The downward direction of the muffler flange might mean these won’t work well with mufflers either.

And, it’s rare to see those solid-letter dogs in such pristine shape. They must be around 40 years old at this point.
