“VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN EDGEWOOD, IOWA… I may possibly be able to deliver within a reasonable distance if needed as long as buyer pays for gas…please contact me to make arrangements.

The last four pictures are what this Jeepster could look like fully restored. This redish/maroon color is the same original color of my Jeepster that is for sale before the previous owner painted it yellow.

For sale is a 1948 Willys Jeepster. This Jeepster is a 1948 model year with clean Iowa Title. Still has the original 4 cylinder Go Devil engine and 3 speed transmission with overdrive. The engine has had the head removed to have a crack professionaly repaired, the engine was never finished being put back together. I went through everything to make sure it all spins freely. It has a Holly carberator on it currently but the original intake manifold and carter carburator are in the trunk. It has the original generator in the trunk which appears rebuilt, but I only say it looks rebuilt because of how clean it is. The original starter is on the engine and it has a spare starter in the trunk. Chrome is all there but some of it was painted yellow.

The car origianlly lived in Texas, then moved to Iowa I’m guessing sometime in the late 80’s from random paper work I found in the car. The guy I bought it from purchased it in 2000 and stored it inside for 18 years. It has some minor dents and dings that will need straightened out and repaired before paint but nothing serious. The floor boards are solid with no holes rusted thought, but they do have some heavy surface. The hood is rust free…a million times better than some of the rotted ones I’ve seen on ebay…seems to be a common issue on these jeepsters…but this one is solid! The rocker panels are also soild. BTW don’t know if I said this but the car was originally a darker maroon/red color with black vinyl seats….not yellow with cheeta print vinyl seats and glitter all over the inside 🙁 I just took some pictures today but it’s cloudy and crappy out today so I didn’t really take many. Tomorrow I will probably rinse off the body panels and clean it up a little more for many more high quility pictures. Please feel free to contact me with questions.”
