All complete but the top. Note the “Dispatcher” decal on the dash. That’s different. I wonder where that came from? It shouldn’t last long at that price.

That’s a good point on the decal. I also forgot I was going to try make some of those up.

This looks like the same one that was listed for sale Feb 11 2014 and again Feb 26 2015 on eWillys. It’s made a long trip from west to east and is less money minus the hardtop.

    Rudy … good points.

The 2/2014 DJ http://www.ewillys.com/2014/02/11/1956-cj-3b-san-diego-ca-4000/ looks like it had different seats (seem to be lower and a gray color), but those could have been updates/replaced. The radio is in the same spot. It lacks the Dispatcher sticker on the dash at this point, but that could have easily been added later (though not an easy sticker to locate).

The 2/2015 DJ http://www.ewillys.com/2015/02/26/1956-dj-3a-el-cajon-ca-6500/ shows different tires, but looks like the same jeep otherwise. Note the the rear tire on the latest listing above looks the same as the tires on this 2015 version. There serial number suffix is clearly 10357, which is only a few unit from Patterson, which is 10366. Curiously, Mine has the earliest speedo, a 0-10 KS, while the DJ above has the 0-8 white KS speedo. This suggests that this was the point at which the switch to the white speedos began.

    Hi Rodney,

It looks like this one sold quickly. I’m not surprised given the price. I’ve updated the post.

Colin had some of those “Dispatcher” decals made a few years back and sent me one. Notice the 8 Volt battery and little air cleaner. 56337- 10357 was added to our DJ3A Production Survivor List on 1/21/2015 from El Cajon, CA. Notice the side boards say “Chula Vista Farm” which is all in the San Diego area. Great buy if everything was as stated. Price in 2015 was $6800.
