I believe that all 1961-66 scouts had fold down windshields. I have a true convertible sporttop scout rotting away in the weeds. To many ideas not enough time.

As a kid, I remember my dad’s ’63 Scout 80 had a fold down windshield…top mounted vaccum wipers too. He traded it in for a ’72 Jeepster Commando back in ’74. I must admit, I preffered the Scout. Nothing but problems with that Commando… by then it was AMC building them.

A friend got a scout shortly after I got my willys 1959 cj3b in high school in 75. I didnt care for it much and my Willy’s was simply a cooler ride.
But, couple years later he picked up an FJ-40 and that was a nice jeep. You could put it on the highway.
