“One of a kind Jeep. Powered by Chevy 327 small block. 3 speed manual transmission with high and low splitter. 4×4 original Axel’s beautiful machine once in a lifetime find. No rust or rot. Barn find this is what I paid for it. Not trying to profit just need the money to put a flatbed on my pickup. Currently has no bed and cannot be used. So I’m selling for that reason. ”

NICE Jeep! The link takes us to the $10,000 price. I think this is a steal at $5000. Hope it finds a good home :-).

    no rust ?? — IN HUMBOLDT COUNTY ?? — HAHAHA ?? — I have several jeeps I bought in HUM-BO-CO — all had the COAST CANCER !!!

Agree on the coastal fog. Fortuna has less fog than Eureka or Arcata. Eastern Humboldt is quite dry(except the rain) once you pass the fog line.

EASTERN HUMBOLDT ?? — HOOPA INDIAN REZ ??? — GARBAGEVILLE ?? — SURE , ITS DRIER AWAY FROM THE COAST — BUT THATS WHERE ALL THE DRUGGY DOPE CARTELS ARE HIDING !!! — ITS TOO BAD REALLY — THEY HAVE RUINED THE AREA !! — POISONED THE STREAMS — KILLED THE WILDLIFE — SHAME SHAME SHAME !!! — I DONT EVEN KNOW ANYBODY WHO SMOKES POT ANYMORE ??? — PASSE ??? — JUST ANOTHER CREEPY DRUG ?? — SI ~

Yeah I was thinking more Willow Creek and Bridgeville, but I agree with you on the impact of pot growing. Smoking pot may be comperable to other things that are legal, but growing it descimates the environment. Damning the creeks. Pumping water out of the rivers. Dumping herbicide, pesticides, and rodenticide into the ground. Clearcutting stands of trees for places to grow. Bulldozing hillsides for the same. Diesel and oil spills from the generators. The list keeps going. Sad. Can’t wait for it to be fully legal and regulated.

But back to Willys. Here is a cool set of pictures of a Willys truck at night under the southern Humboldt sky (photography by David Wilson): https://kymkemp.com/2018/10/08/night-lights-of-the-north-coast-old-willys-the-night-sky/
