“1948 Willys Jeepster Overland for parts. The floor boards are severely rusted but it has a ton of useable and restorable parts. The drivetrain is complete. All of the frame work for the convertible top is still there. It isn’t really a builder quality chassis but I have seen worse starts to projects! It has NO TITLE. It spent well over 40 years inside a semi trailer. Sold complete only, AS-IS.”

BWAHAHAHAHA !! — EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS — COOL !!! — ORIGINAL RADIO — EXPLODED WIDE WHITES — I’D LIKE TO BUY THIS AND STICK IT ON MY ROOF — PUT A RACCOON BEHIND THE WHEEL — LET THE NEIGHBORS GO CRAZY !!!

It’s currently being broken down and stripped in my driveway. No shortage of raccoons and crazy neighbors for my efforts. Funny story about the exploded tires; the seller had to put it on the trailer with a forklift but to roll it off, we had to put some tires on it. The spares I brought wouldn’t fit over the grease caps but 3 of these old things held air pressure. We tried to inflate the spare since the 4th wheel was shredded. As I held it while it was inflated, the inner tube extruded through the tire wall like a black balloon about junk-high. By the time I realized what I was looking at, I had pushed the tire away from me before the resulting explosion could remove aforementioned junk. We made one of the spares from an old Camaro work and scattered steel 350 miles home.

    Richard,

I’m glad your junk survived intact 🙂 … sounds like you are making good progress on it. Good luck (I’ve updated the post)!
