Here’s a John Deere themed FC. Seller included a video.
Here is your chance to own a truly unique, rare, and beautifully restored 4-wheel drive pickup, of which only 1600 were built. This ‘John Deere’ colored Willy’s Jeep was totally restored starting with media blasting the body and frame, cutting out the rust and replacing it with new metal, period correct engine, interior, and wiring in the early 2000’s by an individual in York, PA. There is no rust or rot coming through anywhere. The approximate mileage since completion is about 1200. Current owner purchased the pickup in 2004 and has only driven it to local shows and parades.
Mechanically the Willy’s Jeep runs great; all the lights (headlights, turn signals, brake lights, etc) work like new. Speedometer and odometer function normally, but the horn, new fuel gauge, new temp gauge, and new heater motor were never wired. Owner indicates that they will work without an issue.
The entire drive line has been rebuilt including the period correct (not original) 134 c.i. ‘F’ head Jeep engine. Standard 3-speed manual transmission with new clutch pack was gone through too.
Both front and rear Ramsey PTO’s are new; new yokes and seals in the differentials, and the front lock-out hubs function like new.

Nice restoration, but those John Deere colors are way too much, detract from the sale value in my opinion. Unless there was an incentive, why would you want to promote a major manufacturer’s product with all you hard work, time & money? Yes, my points of view are always contrary to popular opinion, I just don’t understand the reasoning.
Mike if you are a John Deere person you probably like the colors. I like John Deere so I like the colors, they are fun. This would look good next to my friends $400,000 dollar tractor and his other John Deer equipment.
I like the Deere colors, but there is something a little over the top about this one, maybe it is the interior finish? A wee bit surprised that not everything is connected electrically, given the apparent quality of the restoration (like the horn!) But, overall, really nice FC.
As of today, 11/10/18, high bid of $19000.00 and the reserve price has NOT been reached. I still don’t like the color at any price. Boy oh boy, am I out of the main stream of American culture.
I am surprised by the price, too.
Ditto on the theme and price. I’m not a fan of either, and the market has spoken with No Sale.
I think this FC-150 would have met the reserve if it had BP logo. lol.
