Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willy’s Jeep, 79 miles (new speedometer) 4 wheel drive, 4 cylinder (L134) engine, 3 speed standard transmission, front winch (no controls),
higher window shield, blue paint color, radio, padded back seats, spare tire and carrier and tow bar, roll bar (not attached).”
Notice the windshield frame has added height, wonder what’s then reason.
I can only guess that someone taller drove it. But, that’s pretty high.
