“1947 Willeys JEEP. Amazing original in every aspect. Collector car!!! This is an original paint from 47 Jeep with every option from factory. It is in perfect running order and does not drip a drop of oil. It has California (gold) vintage plates. Everything included including books, spare tire, bed extender (worth $1000 alone) perfect canvas with clear clear plastic panels. Interior is perfect. All running gear like overdrive, 4 drive, high/low work as though new. THIS IS NOT AN OLD ARMY JEEP. This is a CJ or sold to the public jeep from 1947. All works, 6V, battery charger included but it start up first try. It want to be driven more than I get around to. Original pinstripe lettering (hand.) It has great tires, seats, floors. and addition accessories from factor live icebox and other details. This will not last.”

Nice job. Attention to detail looks impressive. Original color? Highly doubtful for 71 years old. Maybe an original color re-spray. (or close to it)

He says “doesn’t drip a drop of oil.” As much as I love old jeeps, I’ve never seen one that didn’t leak a little. The only time to worry about them is when they STOP dripping (i.e. empty).

WHEN YOU HAVE THE BED EXTENDER — YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO MOUNT THE SPARE ON THE SIDE OF IT — THEN IT DOESNT GET KNOCKED OFF …

I *think* only some of the extenders were designed to carry the spare tire. But, as long as it can support the weight, I’d agree with mounting it there.

Again, I have several old Willys that do not drip any oil ,if it’s fixed right any engine , trans. or rear should not leak . As far as the bed extender being worth a grand , I question that .

It only has two factory options that I see- passenger seat and back seat. Not even close to having all the factory options for that year. If he has all the books he says, he would know that’s not accurate.

The painted ‘Willys’ on the windshield shows it’s been repainted. Those were only painted on the hood and tailgate.

It does look nice, clean and solid though.
