Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Willys Jeep with a 289 Ford engine from a 1968 Mustang that is balanced and blueprinted. Automatic transmission with a B&M shifter. Oversized fuel cell. New transmission fluid and filter. New engine oil and filter. Original military axles front and rear. Defrost and heater work very well. Tub is solid with very minimal rust. Floor pans are all original and in excellent condition with no rust that I can see. Telescopic and tilt steering column. Air shocks front and rear. Clean Colorado Title. Definitely has a lot of potential with a little bit of cleaning. Mechanically ready to drive.”
