Steve spotted this rare item. I can’t tell if it was made specifically for the Willys truck or if it is an adaptation. The Lift-O-Matic was the lift gate that Willys-Motors endorsed.

Not sure I understand what it’s purpose is!? Looks like it was set in the bed not under, I don’t know. Maybe to lift the front of a towed vehicle since it seemed to come off a tow truck. But lift gate? Not sure.
