Any Ford N series motor is easy to find carbs for. Ford made a million N series tractors between 1939 and 1952. Last I heard, approximately 750,000 are still in use. Ford also put this same engine in F1 pickups sold to Brazil during WWII. Probably, won’t make it much past 40 MPH, but still not a bad redesign and easy to get parts for.

The Holley 847D carb. was exclusive to the Ford GP as it is a downdraft unit. The 9N tractor used an updraft carb. It may be readily available, but not correct for the GP. And yes, original 847D’s are going for $5K…although Joe’s Motorpool in England currently has rights to repro these carbs.

I too have been told that those Ford GP carbs go for about $5k by a guy who rebuilds prototypes.
