UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,950.

Has some minor updates.

“I purchased this vehicle from an older gentleman who had owned it for 44 years. He used it in his orchard for several years and then had it in storage for over 30 year. He had done a ton of work on it. The vehicle has rusty floor pans which were replaced properly. He had the body off the frame and had the body work done and painted. About 300 miles ago he had the entire drive line gone through, engine, transmission and transfer case. He had the tranny rebuilt since it had lots of wear.

The leaf springs are all new.
The brakes have all been worked on. The rear drums were able to be turned and were then put on the front with new break pads. The rear drums could not be turned so new ones were purchased but need to be installed along with the brake pads. You can see the hubs and brakes in the picture.

The electrical was changed to a 12 volt system. The starter was converted to 12 volt is not just a 6 volt starter pushed by 12 volts.

The radiator had been replaced. It is like new. It has a new alternator, fuel pump and has a new carburetor that has not been installed. You can also see that in the picture. The motor runs great.

The previous owner installed dual wipers that are electric and not vacuum. I removed them because I am not driving it in the rain and I think it looks cooler with out them.
They are easy to reinstall if you were heading to the hills. The gauges are all new. I have a new manual throttle cable that needs to be installed. I replace the fuel gauge as well as the sending unit in the gas tank. The gas tank is also new. I do have the manual crank incase your battery goes dead while you are up in the heels. You slide it in the front of the motor to the crank shaft and crank it like an old Model A.

I have mounted two jerry cans on the back with new carriers. They are very secure and don’t rattle and the tail gate comes down without having to remove the tanks. The are painted the color of the jeep and clear coated also.

The top is in perfect shape. It fits great and easy to install and remove. The seats were redone. They sit a little higher than the original but make for a nice ride on the bumpy roads. All the lights work on the vehicle including the turn signals and back up lights that were installed. The exhaust system was also new but I do have a new header piece because I didn’t like the way the current one is fitting. It seals fine but wanted to make sure it won’t jar loose down the road.

I am only selling it because sometimes life throws you a curve ball and the toys are the first things to go.
It is an awesome vehicle and I hope it will go to someone who will appreciate it.
I do have the Washington State “1946” vanity license plate which can go with the jeep if you transfer it and pay the yearly premium.”
