This December 1949 Ad published in the Saturday Evening Post is interesting in that WILLYS is printed larger than the term ‘Jeep’, the latter being regulated to a small badge near the wagon image.
This would be a cool poster….just sayin’ wink wink
I’ve seen several of them that made me think “POSTER”, lol. I’d want to make a poster of all the “city and city” wagon ads. I already have a few high resolution versions of the images and some other actual magazine ads. I still need to hunt down the others.
