“1964 Willys CJ3A for sale. Kaiser Jeep Corporation This is a highly modified Jeep from CA built for serious off-road use but is still a very nice vehicle. It can crawl off-road and still cruise down the highway at 70+ mph. With short wheel base 55 seems like a better idea though. Frame and Body are rust free and in great shape. The list of modification is:
1. CJ3A Body came from a DJ3A (two wheel drive). Restored 11 years ago white exterior with Rhino Lining inside. Assembled after painting and spraying the liner so a very clean look.
2. Driveline
a. Chevrolet V8 with aluminum radiator
b. SM 420 4 speed transmission with 7.0:1 granny gear
c. Dana Spicer 20 Transfer Case Twin Stick
d. Dana 44 rear axle I am not positive on front axle model

e. Axles have Lock-Right lockers by PowerTrax and 5:38 gears
f. Power Steering conversion with tilt column
g. Disc Brake Conversion on front axle and drum brakes in the rear.
h. Lock outs on front axle
i. Optima Dry Cell Battery
3. BF Goodrich Radial All-Terrain 32×11.5xR15 LT with matching full size spare. Room for 35s
4. 2″ Body lift with rock sliders
5. CJ 5 Shackles and springs by Con Ferr Inc.
6. Heim joints on steering linkages
7. 6 point roll cage with 3 point seat belts and unique defrost feature for windshield
8. Heavy-duty front bumper with trailer/receiver hitch and tow bar (removable) with wiring connection to use rear lights for towing.
9. Rear bumper has welded spare tire carrier and removable rock crawler gas can and cooler rack
10. Full Soft top with doors
11. Hand throttle on shift handle for crawling
12. Brake line lock electric
13. Electric windshield wipers
14. Locking storage under all three seats
15. Purchased in California last year and has never seen salt and very little rain. Previous owner used it more like a golf cart to drive around his community. Soft top, body and frame are super clean.”

  1. Dave from Mn

I would think that motor would be screaming at 70 with 32’s on 5:38 axles with no overdrive.
