“I have a 1946 Willys Jeep that I would like to sell for $3300. It needs some work, but it does run and drive and titled in PA as a vintage vehicle. In addition to the vehicle, I also have extra parts and an extra T90 transmission and Dana18 transfer case. The vehicle was bought originally as a project, but like almost all these ads, got way too out of hand with a lot of stuff happening in my life (graduating college, getting a job, moving, etc..). However, I would like this Willys to go to someone who would really appreciate its worth and hard work that has been put into it.

Off the bat, somethings that need to be worked on are mainly cosmetic with the body tub rusting in places and windshield missing the glass (I have windshield parts and seals). In addition, the transmission leaks sometimes, depending on the weather, which leads me to seals. Seats for these things are hard to come by (I have been trying to keep it OE), but the office chairs are there so the driver doesn’t just sit on the gas tank. Newer wheels would also be nice but the tubes are new with valves.

The Jeep is converted to 12v and a new starter motor is inside with a battery over the cranking amps needed. Engine and its valves have been rebuilt and tuned with new spark plugs and wires and distributor cap. Exhaust from the headers down to the muffler and tail pip have been redone or new. Radiator has been checked for leaks and newer rubber hoses have been added. Oil pan has been resealed, too. Brakes are iffy but have been working (I believe the left front one has a leak but I can get that replaced). Lights have been added in the front and some of the wiring has been replaced, too. Speedo needs to be connected but some of the other gauges work and have been tested.

Overall, the Willys runs but is clearly a project. I have documentation of what has been done and what needs to be done in oder to get it to spec because I like to be diligent about my projects. My initial goal was to get the vehicle in prime condition for shows, but life gets in the way and with moving my existing vehicles and house for a new job, it would be hard to keep this sadly.

However, if you are someone who likes working on vintage vehicles, knows much about the Willys Jeeps, or just wants a project, let me know! I am sure we can strike a deal. If more pictures are needed, let me know because I am still trying to make this jeep better with the little time I have nowadays and where it is currently inside my warehouse, lighting sucks for photos. If you would like to check out the vehicle, do bring a trailer. I am also able to deliver if needed for an extra cost and after signing over the title.”
