Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: Roger pointed out that the driver’s side exhaust beings by turning into and through the fender. I’ve added a pic of that.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an exhaust that exits forward, then goes through the top part of the fender. At least that’s what it looks like to me.
Roger, I’ve not seen that strategy used either. I actually didn’t noticed it; just saw it was a V6 and moved on … I’ve updated the post.
