This Brazilian tutorial about the Willys Rural Wagon and Truck was spotted by Carl. Portuguese speakers might find it interesting.

I hadn’t noticed it before, but some of the Rural wagons and Jeepsters have a “Parkette”-looking fiberglass stripe along the sides. Maybe that’s where Paul Parker got the idea?

One of the reasons Paul put the stripe on was to deflect mud from getting between the soft top and the body.

It also made the body different from Fred’s Bobcat body style.

    Rob,

I knew it differentiated between Fred’s Bobcat, but didn’t know the reason was to deflect mud (or you told me previously and I’ve already forgotten it). Thanks!
