The body work on this appears well done. It’s got some non-jeep rims on it. I’m wondering if those front rims have been enlarged so that the rims would fit over the hubs.

I have a couple of wheels identical to those that came on my ‘56 cj5. They are 15”, and have the correct center bore size to fit over the front hub. I haven’t removed a tire yet, but it appears the outside flange to to flange is 6 1/2” giving it a 5 1/2 “ space between the flanges. And, they have those same odd little raised areas between the lug holes on the center disc, with the one lug hole lining up with the valve stem like some military ones I’ve seen. My Jeep came with 5 wheels, but only these two match. Could they be IH wheels ? Someday I’ll put together a matching set, but for now they work fine.

Possibly 1970’s Ford truck rims, the 4 wheel drive Ford F150’s, have the same bolt pattern and center hub hole as the early CJ’s.

Thanks guys. I saw the back rims and they looked identical to the front ones, plus I could only remember seeing these rims with the small hole.
