At first I thought the photo was reversed, but now I’m not sure. The fuel filler on the passenger side is what I’m looking at. Does this have an auxiliary fuel tank?

You’re right jtruck, it’s a nice job done on an added tank under passenger seat. You can see the steering wheel in the pics that shows it is not reversed and you can see the original tank under the drivers seat. Good eye…

Oh the diamond plate. It has two purposes: cover up rust or look “cool”. I’ve looked at several jeeps and have not seen many that weren’t trying to cover up something

Or…. it’s a right hand drive Jeep AND the photo has been reversed. This is all getting way too complicated.

Forth photo down you can clearly read “WILLYS” on the tailgate, see the steering wheel on the drivers side and see the passenger auxiliary fuel filler.

Also looks to be freshly painted and with the diamond plating it is probably hiding some things.

Passenger side fuel tanks weren’t uncommon around the Pacific Northwest. Some fiberglass bobcat bodies came with the inlet already formed.

I like how the seller says, “willys ready for restoration back to original or modify to whatever level”. Who would spend this kind of money on this jeep just to restore or mod it up?

  8. Idaho Todd

Oh the humanity…shows decent though. I like the top, is it lined with cork? The whitewalls are cool, too.

  9. Minnesota Chris

Looks like cork. Great stuff to walk on. Did you see the roll bar plate? Covers whole wheel well top

“Hasn’t been ran in 15 years and the front brakes are partially disassembled?” No wonder it hasn’t sold this entire time for that price….Price it right, and it will go.
