Wow, best looking 3B I’ve seen, simply beautiful. But then I think the 3b is the best looking jeep of all, sorry. If I win the lottery tonight this will be on the top of my list.😊

Frank, it sure does. Thanks for spotting it. As I said, I’m sure there are some in here that I’ve accidentally labelled Kelly tops.

Major Bong, are you related to whomever they named Bong Lane on Luke AFB after? I hadn’t seen that name before I started working on Luke.

  6. MAJOR RICHARD BONG

HEY JOE — MAJOR RICHARD ” DICK ” BONG WAS A WW2 AIR ACE — HE CARRIED A RANDALL KNIFE — YES , HE WAS VERY FAMOUS — HE FLEW A P-38 LIGHTNING — KILLED RIGHT AFTER THE WAR TEST FLYING A P-80 — JAPANESE COULDNT KILL HIM , THE JET DID

told me it was too nice to beat up in the back country, so he wanted to sell right after he bought it little over a year ago. I had other photos of it, and it is just as nice underside. Previous owner, 2years ago, had it on eBay and I bid it to 13,200.00. Stopped there as I had 1500.00 freight to Maryland…would still consider though on eBay.
