“Selling my 1957 Willys-Jeep 4×4 Pickup for $6,500.00. I’m not interested in any trades want to sell outright. This truck only has a little over 40,000 miles and come with it’s correct 4cyl engine which is locked up and does not turn over. The jeep was stored in a large enclosed building next to the shellrock river that runs though our town and during the six years that it was in that building it had water all around it.

The previous owner of the jeep was a very good friend of mine and he spent a lot of money going though the engine just prior to putting it in his storage building for safe keeping when the first flood hit our town in 2013. It was never moved out of that building as his health failed him and he soon passed away. The family left all of his cars and trucks right where he placed them for the next six years until about two weeks ago when I was able to purchase the willys-jeep from his son. I was able to get all the wheels to turn and roll and the parking lights and tail light work, I have not tried to turn the engine over just really think it ceased up.

It was originally a red with white trim vehicle but 10 years ago before john died he told me the previous owner had the color changed to blue and white. I has some rust in the floor close to the center console on both sides. I will be more then happy to provide additional pictures of any area your concerned about. The transmission appears to shift into all the correct gears ok and the transfer case also moves in and out of high and loc lock but of course only way to know for sure is to get it running and fire it up and put her though her paces. The vin number is correct and matches up perfect to the title and the lic plates are up to date. Windows roll down fine and doors open and close as they should. The engine cover in in the very solid pickup box or bed. The speedo records the miles at just over 40,000 I can always give anyone a walk around the truck with my cell phone and answer any questions you may have. You may call me or text or e-mail anytime. I will put you with a shipping company phone number if you wish.”
