“Complete frame off restore/mod 1965 CJ6 Jeep! Lots of amazing upgrades and work, not to mention $$$ (Receipts for over $18K in just parts/service!) has gone into this Jeep. I have almost all parts to complete it with a few exceptions. The pictures speak for themselves, but I’ve also listed more details below.

What it has:

>>>Zero rust!
>>> All Steel tub taken completely off and sandblasted, repaired, painted with POR on the underside, Raptor liner inside.
>>>Frame also sandblasted and treated with multiple coats of POR
>>>New front bumper with Superwinch 9.0
>>>New rear bumper with tire carrier.
>>>Custom built Currie Dana 44’s front and rear (86 CJ7 axles, 30 spline axles 3” housing), OX Lockers in front and rear, 4.56 gearing (All put together by MIT Drivetrain.)
>>>1988 Chevy 4.3L V6: Completely and professionally rebuilt by Wholesale Machine.
>>>T5 Trans, Dana 300 transfer case off an 86 CJ7, both rebuilt professionally by MIT Drivetrain.
>>>Advance Adapters headers.

>>>Boxed frame with 3/16” plate.
>>>Brand new Custom front and rear seats with 4 point harnesses for both front and rear.
>>>Custom black powder coated roll cage that is mounted down to the frame.
>>>Brand new Ron Davis Aluminum radiator with electric fan.
>>>Brand new TrailQuest custom gas tank with skid, sending unit and fuel pump.
>>>Chevy tilt steering column with Grant steering wheel.
>>>Borgeson steering shafts and joints
>>>Rebuilt power steering pump
>>>YJ or TJ steering box (Can’t remember which)
>>>1 Ton steering components
>>>New Leaf Springs and hardware
>>>Front disc brakes (Chevy big brakes disc kit)
>>>Rear brakes are 11” Ford
>>>YJ pedal assembly
>>>Customer Stainless Steel dash
>>>Warn locking hubs
>>>New Edelbrock water pump
>>>New front parking lights
>>>Setup on 33” tires
>>>I also have the hood (not shown in the pics)
>>>Lots of stainless hardware used as well.

There is a whole lot more: New rear tail/brake lights, new stainless steel gas fill fix mount/protector, new stainless steel disc brake dust shields, new stainless steel mirrors, new rear view mirror, new glove box, new windshield frame cowl weather seal, new window frame mounts, new windshield rubber, new harmonic balancer, new engine gasket kit, original differential covers, custom made side skid rails that can be mounted or not, and I’ve got boxes of more parts that will also go with it.

What it needs:

>>>Electrical wiring/harness
>>>Fuel lines
>>>Drive shafts
>>>Shocks
>>>Finish running brake line (mostly done)
>>>Complete the engine: Carburation, finish power steering, hoses
>>>Paint color of your choice, body is fully primed.

These are very rare models, only 50,000 were made and mostly overseas. Rarely will you find one that has been restored to this level. All the heavy lifting has been done for this one. Everything on this is either completely and professionally rebuilt or brand new. Except the tires.) Once complete, this Jeep will easily drive down the freeway at freeway speeds and still climb over anything off the pavement.

If you’re not already familiar with a CJ6, it is basically a factory stretched version of the CJ5. The wheelbase of a CJ6 is 101” vs. 81” of a CJ5.

Pink slip in hand, currently registered Non-Op.

Unfortunately, I need the $ and will not have the time this summer finish it up. My loss is your gain.

Just in time for summer… come get her, and treat her well. :)”
