This looks in good shape. The Koenig hardtop has a useful carrier on the top.

“$6500 OBO 1949 Willys Jeep Fresh rebuilt 4 cylinder engine with about 5000 miles. Great hard top by Koenig Iron Works out of Houston TX. Square hardtop which gives the Willys a Range Rover defender look. Aftermarket heater, windshield wipers, etc. Locks up all around. Only vintage Jeep that you have to turn the heater down on. Ramsey 9000 wench. Spare tire can go on the top or the side. The paint and top have great weathered and worn look. Brake lights and turn signals have been raised in the back to view above gas cans. She’s old and slow, but she gets all the looks.”

Is it me or does the jeep look bent downward in the middle? Tub looks level but front clip appears to angle up.

    Joe DeYoung,
That doesn’t seem uncommon; I’ve see quite a few with that look. I don’t know if they have bent frames or different sheet metal or what. Whatever it is; it not pleasing to the eye – especially if you have OCD, lol.

    Joe,

Good catch. I didn’t notice it when I did the post, but do now. To me, it looks like the front clip angles lower to the rear while the body angles lower to the front. It’s hard to believe the frame would have bent that much, but harder to believe the body has collapsed in the middle.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s a weird camera thing? But, the rest of the photo appears normal.
