    I passed it by a sign collector and he seemed to indicate it was original. He told me he would have considered buying it if not for the fact that he’d just bought one recently.

    As for the asking price, it seems consistent with other signs of this type that I’ve seen. But, I have no idea what the actual sales price on these ends up being.

    We have 2 professional sign collectors in our area. Both tell me that a porcelain Kaiser Willys Jeep dealer signs without any neon pushes 4 – 5K on a good day and neither would even consider selling one. They are just investment fodder based on scoring of condition and rarity. Too rich for me.
