Happy Thanks Giving, Dave. Appreciate you working overtime on turkey day. Hope you got paid time and a half. LOL.

Notice the hubcaps on this Jeepster convertible, they were a extra cost option very similar to, or may be even being the same hubcap that was also an option on 1967-67 Ford Galaxies and F-100 pickups with the extra trim option.

This particular print add was not as widely circulated as most, limited to the Thanksgiving holiday for one year, Life & Look Magazine, a few smaller black & white newspaper versions, mostly dealer adds. Always one of my favorites.

Mike: Great info, but how in the world did you remember all that!

    Thanks Chuck and Chris!

Where do I get a color print of that ad? Love it. Thanks for posting it.

Hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving with those closest to you. Seems to become more difficult with each passing year as we age. But at the same time, I think we realize to a greater extent, how valuable our days with family and friends truly are.

Dave…….Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family. Hope you and all the ewillys folks are able to enjoy great food……great family……and maybe a ride in the woods after some turkey !!

Its nice to take a Thanksgiving break in between prepping the homemade stuffing/dressing and sliding the turkey into the bag for the next 3hrs. in the oven. Time for another coffee before the doorbell rings.

LOL, Reminds me of my favorite South Park episode – the thanksgiving Episode where the turkeys set the village on fire. In this case, the faux knock off spinners can be used like the real ones on the Roman gladiator wagons to decapitate a few turkeys while trying to escape their encirclement. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone !

Dave, My mind is a memory vault for trivial facts that few people care about. All day long, I will have memories from the past, 60 plus years just screaming to be verbalized. Willys Jeeps are a big part of my life. Having this mindset, I honestly don’t know if I’ve been blessed or cursed. If there was a market for memories, I’d be a rich man. Oh no, I just triggered a memory of Fiddler on the Roof with Zero Mostel, the song is now playing in my mind. An Idiot savant kind of thing I guess.
