Hey dave. I don’t think those 2a bezels were on your list! Back to the drawing board… 🙂

But seriously, I’d love to see the backside of that windshield frame to find out why that mod was necessary. If they boxed it out to add a functional dash board then maybe I could see that being ok. Because ad it sits now it’s a bit on the ugly side without knowing a reason behind the madness

    John,

Good point. Since I must guess, I’d say they could be Aero Willys ones that have been attached to standard 2A bezels …

I suspect the box is storage; hopefully, someone will check this out and share some pics!

Given the location I’d bet that boxed area of cowl involves additional heat & defrost, it’s funny after the write up on headlight bezels this one has some.

Both sunk up to the hubs! Better make sure your trailer winch batteries are charged for these two. I’m guessing you’ll be dragging em up and not rolling em

Cool in a very unique kind of way. If I were to guess when this jeep was customized, modified, I would guess mid 1960’s. Of course the color may be faded, but it reminds me of the popular Jeep color of that time period INDIAN CERAMIC.

Mike, I felt the same way about it. There seems to be a quaint(?) practicality about it. This one also shows the use of the Willys Aero headlight bezels.

I think you have posted several jeeps with the boxed in area in front of the windshield. I think they were all North Western jeeps.

I think the jeep may be a good deal, if the drivetrain is complete. Lots of uniqueness, while staying somewhat original, and a PTO winch is a plus. It would be interesting to know its history.

Mark: if I remember correctly, I think the ones I’ve documented have been in Colorado and Montana area (which is ‘east’ to me 🙂 )
