Sold. I picked it up this afternoon. The engine was recently built, installed in a 2A and then the owner decided to do a V8 swap. Its going straight into my 3A (minus the custom air horn setup).

It’s a frankenmotor. Has a 639660C early MB head on a 641087 CJ3A block. I pulled the head and oil pan to check the internals. The cylinders are bored .040 over and the crank is cut .010/.010. It had a couple of cracks in the deck that were pinned. Looks really good inside. I won’t be using the MB head though. I’ve got a 640035 high altitude head ready to be installed.

    Hi Jerry,

I’m not sure who’s working on flat fenders in the Everett area, but someone from the PNW4WDA may know. I’d try contacting the following:

If you have facebook, this is the region that includes Everett: https://www.facebook.com/Pnw4wda-Region-One-1376116139195593/

This offload company is in Snohomish, though I thought it had closed. They might know someone: https://www.oly4x4.com

If you don’t have Facebook, you can ask one of the folks through this page. I know Mitch of the Wander Willys JC the best, so try emailing him: https://www.pnw4wda.org/clubs-r1.php

    I hope that helps!
