Yes this has been for sale many many times

It had a custom soft top with a diamond back window and a very funky looking rollbar with curves in the back

Its been featured here on eWillys more than a few times, it would appear to be a difficult sale. 283 is a solid motor for a light vehicle like that but for some reason no one wants it

Thanks John … the seller must be changing the town name for some reason.

You can make a lot of h.p.out of a 283 Chevy motor. Look at all the Corvettes that had 283’s in them before the 327 came out in 1962.

Thats very true. That’s why I mentioned it seems like it would work well with such a light vehicle like a 2a.

The original price was at 6,000 back last year. The price now seems like its more reasonable, but I have to wonder. Every time this thing comes up for sale there’s never pictures of the engine bay, interior, or underside. Of course thats not a deal breaker, but a clean 2a with a v8 shouldve sold by now (or atleast I would think so)
