“1953 Willys Jeep. Professional restoration done in Clovis California. In great shape. $3000 custom top. Buick V6 engine. Four-wheel-drive works great. Also does great in 2 Wheel drive. Very hard to find a Willys Jeep in this condition. No rust. Tires in great shape. Brand new aluminum radiator and overfill. Brand new battery and battery hold down. New chrome valve covers and coil cover. Upholstery in new condition. Backseat just left out if you need the space in the back. Paint has ghost flames on the hood that you cannot see in the pictures..”
For that price you could at least clean the dust off
Considering the quality of the work, and the fact that it was done by a guy who specialized in custom styled Jeeps, (Clovis, we’ve seen the yellow ones like this) a fair price, the dust is free. To tell you the truth, I don’t know how people judge quality, compare the asking price on this Willys to some of the crazy pie in the sky prices prices payed for questionable restorations, (I use that word lightly) far more value in your dollar with this excellent representation.
A result of this internet madness, common sense has gone out the window.
In my opinion the absolute peak of the Willys flatfender Jeep was in Clovis/Fresno Ca in the 1960’s. (and this is one of the very few surviving examples)
