UPDATE II: Amy is wondering if anyone knows where this Jeepster is? It was last for sale in  Vermont in November of 2018 …

Amy wrote, “It belonged to my grandfather. I was unable to buy it when he passed and to see it for sale again, it would mean the world to me to know where and if I can get it back. I spent my summers working on and going for drives in this car. It was my grandfather’s pride and joy. Please any information you have is appreciated.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9800.

(07/26/2018) I like it, though I’m not a fan of the digital speedometer.

Overall it looks like a well executed theme car, so I can better appreciate some of the features. I agree the flat head is a nice touch, don’t see many of those anymore. I would have stayed with more of the W-O detail parts, like steering wheel, dash and wheel covers.

When my daughter was in kindergarten, the teacher was reading an animal book to the class, and the last page featured a panther. As soon as the teacher read “panther”, my daughter piped right up loudly humming the theme to the classic Pink Panther cartoons, which I had been showing her on Youtube. The teacher was not amused.

Hello, I know I’m late to the party but does anyone know what happened to this car. It belonged to my grandfather. Hi Amy,

I haven’t seen this Jeepster relisted on Craigslist lately (I also checked FB Marketplace just now), so it either sold or the seller pulled it from the market.

If you’d like, I can update the post and see if any readers bought this vehicle. If nothing else, if we can make contact with the new owner, they can learn more about the Jeepster.

Feel free to email me separately at d @ deilers.com (no spaces around the @).

    Amy,
Finding a previously owned vehicle is almost impossible with out a whole lot of luck and blind faith. I have tried doing this with many of my old Willys vehicles over the years with no such luck. What is in your favor, is that this Jeepster was listed within the past two years, so that is in your favor. Most DMV,s are of no help at all, they only will do title searches for current owners. Although I have come across many vehicles that I recognized from my past, not one was one owned by me. Good luck in your search, We’ll all be on the lookout.
