Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I know of about 60 cars that were stored in a sealed barn with a dirt floor in western Washington around 1980. They were just pulled out and about half of them were quite rusty because there wasn’t any air circulation. Sealed storage doesn’t automatically mean preserved.
