“1946 Jeep (CJ2) for sale! This one of a kind ride is not for the faint of heart. I purchased this vehicle for several reasons. I appreciate someone’s labor of love, the time, patience and skill it requires to turn a heirloom into a beautiful racing machine. This itself is a memorable challenge and an accomplishment. A few things were kept original.

In 2010 the original family owners took it off the road, took the 350 out, bought a new 350 4 Bolt Main, and ripped it down **every nut, bolt, gasket and more…** It was built by a Chevy Master Mechanic of 38 years. Everything was done from the heads, lifters, cam, new transfer case, rear end, 411 gears, and so much more that is way too much to list.

The original owners invested over $20,000 between 2010-2014 and another $15,000 between 2015-2018 including a new fiberglass body. Only top of the line parts were used and money was no issue. Once you see it, you will know it’s a one of a kind. It was set up to race eighth-mile or quarter-mile lines, dunes or tracks, but it still has never been raced. It is street legal. For the past 40 years, it has never been driven in the snow or rain.

This Jeep is over 70 years old and has paperwork back to the grandfather who purchased it new. Everything works…it’s ready to bring the family for ice cream or the race track. Offered for $19,500. I reading the description; I’m like; where is the CJ2A part? Maybe just the windshield? Looks like a nice fun ride!

Mike, I agree. I think there’s actually a lot of nice fabrication work on this jeep.
