“Up for sale we have a first year 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This jeep is being sold with 100% of the sale being donated to the American Cancer Society. This Jeep was a generous donation that our local jeep club received from a private owner. It has a clear California title. It is currently not running. We have determined the engine is a 4.2 liter that has been converted to fuel injection. This is not a 4.0.
The jeep was in the process of a full restoration when we received it but as you can tell, it needs to be completed. This was at some time a full frame off restoration. You can tell from the pictures that the frame is in excellent condition. Interior: the interior was in the process of being restored and we feel the majority of all interior parts are included. It includes an after market steel locking console. All three seats are in great shape as well. Original keys and most of the interior parts are original.Tub: the tub is wonderful condition as well. Inside floor boards and rear deck are rust free. The front clip is in good shape with a small ding on the drivers side front fender.
Exterior: has been primed and is almost ready to paint. There is a full set of highly desirable half soft doors that are in great condition. As well there is a passenger side half sliding window. Included is a full soft top and all hardware. The engine is a 4.2 liter 6 cylinder. It will require a new wiring harness. There is a lift installed with newer components including polyurethane spacers and new leaf packs. The tires are in fair condition.
As for rust on this vehicle there is little to none. This jeep has a great chassis and the foundation to be a very nice daily driver or off road rig.As for the mileage, this was a daily driver for many years making multiple trips from the west coast to the east coast. It was purchased in 1988 and was previously from a rental company in Oahu, Hawaii.Please inquire if you would like to see more photos or have any other questions.
