Dan pointed out that this Parkway Conversion looking wagon has the rear bumper step plate of a Traveller. The deal includes a ‘jeep’-bed trailer.

“Rare version with the barn doors less then 300 made in 57′. Back injury forces me to sell rather than complete. Older V8 conversion needs a refresh. Lots of the new parts included. Has Dana front and rear, overdrive and 2 speed rear end! With matching trailer this is a special combo and I will be sad to see it go. serious only I don’t need help selling and if the ad is up its still for sale”

You think it really has a,”…2 speed rear end!” ? Or is the seller confused over the high/low t-case lever. I’ve had an old Studebaker overdrive in a jeep that operationally wise someone might confuse for a 2 speed rear end. Someone needs to crawl under for a look see.

Hig/low t-case, warn overdrive, Studebaker overdrive, and a 2 speed rear end. Now that would be some kind of gearing!

Cool, outrageous, and useless all at once. True meaning of, “a Jeep thing”.

    Brad,

Most likely it’s just the high/low range and may just be confused about how that actually works.

I was wrong about the rear step plate coming from a Traveller. A sharp-eyed reader on Old Willys Forum pointed out that this plate is wider than what came on the Traveller (which only spanned the width of the barn doors). Great catch!
