My hometown of Clifton, NJ had 2 World War 2 army surplus Jeeps they used in the Police Dept. to patrol special events and Civil Defense duty. The city kept these Jeeps well into the 90’s. Both sold at city auction for under $700.00. One was bought by Frnk Malatesta, of Horseless Carriage Carriers.
