Looks in pretty good shape. Has a V8.

“Selling a 79 Jeep DJ5 postal Jeep with a Chevy 283 V8 and Powerglide transmission. Jeep runs and drives, clean title in hand. Steering wheel is on the right hand side. Heater works. Has upgraded trans crossmember, aftermarket engine cradle, new transmission pan with stud kit, new oil pump, odyssey battery, new fuel pump, and exhaust done all in the last year. All tail lights, side markers, reflectors, mirrors, and door seals have been replaced. Strobe light on top works. I put down the mileage that’s on the odometer since the ad requires it, but the speedometer isn’t hooked up and the engine isn’t original to the Jeep so the mileage is unknown.

Jeep drips a little oil and trans fluid when sitting. Reverse lights aren’t connected yet. After getting warmed up(20-30 mins) there is a slight shudder at times when stepping on the gas from a dead stop. Interior has surface rust in areas but nothing major or rusted through I’m aware of.
I’ve driven this all over the valley to car shows and events. It’s a fun rig that really scoots and will do freeway speeds should you desire. In amazing shape for the year.”
