“1946 CJ2A Willys with the original 4 cylinder Go-devil engine and 6V electrical system. Based on the Serial Number, it falls in the very early category, basically right after WW2. It runs very well for its age. The body needs some TLC from someone with a welder, I had intentions of getting one and doing the restoration, but life got in the way. It has the original 6V system, Title and data plates match and I am told are in range for what would be expected to match the engine. Asking $5,000 OBRO Cash, No Trades, and will not part out.

– Transmissions was rebuilt last year and has maybe 70 miles on it.
– it was a column shift, but converted to a top shift during rebuild because the shifting yokes are tired and I was having trouble getting into gear. All of the original parts will be included
– Brakes have been totally gone through
– All new brake lines, including rubber flex hoses, 4 new wheel cylinders, Master Cylinder rebuilt, New shoes and springs all around.
– The driver side rear drum is slightly out of round, but does not affect the stopping ability.
– Drag Link, Bell Crank, and Tie Rods rebuilt and replaced, steering is very good now for the vintage
– Front Wheel bearings replaced 3 years ago
– Exhaust was replaced 3 years ago with Repro exhaust
– Emergency brake cable replaced, added an oiled air filter in place of OEM oil bath air filter (All original parts will be included)
– Gas Tank was replaced last year with Repop due to leaks.
– Differentials were drained, flushed, and fluid replaced this year
– New Water pump, hoses, 185 deg F thermostat installed.
– I also flushed the cooling system 2x with Vinegar and filled it with 50:50 Coolant
– Added right Tail light, and wired in Directionals to rear tails and front parking indicators.
– I left the original wiring for the parking lamps in case this ever needed to be reversed.
– Windshield glass is cracked
– Tub needs some patching and the Hat channels should be replaced
– I have some metal patches that came with the jeep to fix some of the areas.
– Originally the jeep had a PTO drive Post Hole digger. I have the auger screw, the pumpkin and some of the mounting hardware, but do not have the connecting drive shaft. I honestly never tried to mount it either.”
