Aside from the listed modifications, some BIG TIME oil leaks, little leaks are to be expected, but these are another story.

I had a 69 Nova with that engine. 90 hp. It’s the same bore and stroke as a 307, just half the cylinders. Good engine.

    Larry,

Agreed. It was on my short list of engine options when building biscuit. I just couldn’t find one when I needed one.

Gayland, I agree. It looks like a smart setup. It would probably help to have a way to connect the ends of each half to points on the extension to offer more support and to keep the ends from swinging.

Not tryin to start a fight here Larry, as I live in dis stinkin land o lincoln too….but I’ve read dat the GM 153 cu. in. / 2.5 L, is 2/3rds…. two turds of a GM 250 cu. in. six cyl. Losta confusion too, between this engine & the ‘Iron Duke’. Not da same animals.

After describing the engine change, I’m surprised there’s no picture of the engine compartment. Also, there’s an awful lot of diamond plate on the rear portion of the body. I do however like the spare tire and gas can setup.
