(01/28/2021) Early CJ-5 chassis with a CJ-3A body? This seems to be a mix of parts.

M-38 chassis (and possibly engine/tranny) with some M-38 parts on the floor. Looks like a 2a tub and 2a or 3a casting on head. Also, that tub is either a replacement or not from New England!
Paul: It looks to me like the chassis has the wrong front crossmember to be an M-38 chassis? The M-38 chassis also has front frame rails with interior support (sort of boxed), but this one doesn’t.
Given the windshield and seats, I’d lean towards a 2A tub, but hard to confirm based on the pics.
