This jeep sold within an hour of being posted (at $2500) on Facebook. You’ll note it’s a DJ-3A body with footman loops across the back and on the fenders. The jeep has a column shifter. It’s also got pink under the hood. It appears it never had the oil bath filter; instead, it likely had the wire gauze filter. So, I suspect it was a DJ-3A Surrey.
It appears the column shift has been replaced with 4WD conversion. No oil filter either, so what kind of maintenance did it have? Somebody is happy with that quick sale.
And the capstan looks complete even if the owner was using it as a conventional winch.
