Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. But….I never would’ve considered using a carb designed for a two cylinder air cooled Harley, on a four cylinder Pontiac.
I gotta say kudos for ingenuity. I’m no rocket scientist, but this guy must be a jetting expert!
Bingo: Thanks for identifying that. I didn’t have any time to ponder what that was. I can’t say I’ve seen that mod on a jeep!
Maybe B/C it’s not a cheap fix? I dunno, you can find S&S carbs @swap meets, but the last one I bought new cost me 3 beans!
