“1962 Jeep Willys FC170 up for sale.
Jeep Collectors and Enthusiasts, this could be your once in a life time chance to own a very rare Jeep truck. The FC170 (and FC150) forward control (over cab) Jeeps were made between 1957 to 1964 they were used for everything any ¾ or 1 ton trucks were used for. I am told Its built on a Jeep CJ6 frame.
This Willys FC170 has a mostly original drive train, body and trim, except for the bed it is very stock.
The Willys Super Hurricane L-6 226 Flathead engine has been recently rebuilt (less the 400 miles on the rebuild) The whole drive train including engine, 3 speed trans, transfer case, front and rear drives and brakes were all redone during a body off frame restore project (I have all documents from this rebuild, done before I got the truck)

Many parts have been added to this rig to improve its service too.
The Carter YF carb. Has just been rebuilt by a pro YF carb. builder.
A dual 12v battery system was added to allow a wench (wench not included) and to support the dump bed
A jeep PTO overdrive system has been added (installed but needs the shifter and linkage installed. I have the shifter. But not all of the linkage needed to complete)
A new fuel tank has been installed (the sending unit is not working)
A new dump flat bed has been added with an electric drive lift.
A recent new radiator core and cooling fan has been installed (system runs good and cool)
A newer dashboard with updated gauges (I have the original too)

Most of the body work is completed and just about ready for fresh paint. All of the body trim is there but taken off for paint prep. I also have all of the new rubber door and door window seals and brushes to install after its painted.

I can’t seem to get the rig running like it should, It starts right up and runs good but will die out when you stop at a light or otherwise, choking it will start right back up but not dependable enough for the road.
I have only had the truck for about 3 years, Spent a lot of time on it when I first got it but its mostly been sitting in the carport for the past year with out much attention. I don’t really have the time to complete this project as it should be done (my lose, you gain)

This is a very rare find in Florida (the truck came from Massachusetts, it was a forestry truck before being rebuilt. If you google Jeep FC170 you may see a pick of this jeep up in Vermont right after the rebuild and the bed was added)
I have a clear Florida real paper title in hand. After paint and a few fixes this Willys should be well worth twice what I am asking for it now.

$12,000 is my asking price. Cash, bank cashiers check (at a local bank) or partial trade on Suwannee river front property, A newer side by side trade may work too.
Call 850 Nine four 8 three nine 8 9 for an appointment to see it.
I don’t need help selling and will not accept text messages due to spam. Leave a message with name and number and I will call you back as soon as I can. Serious buyer only, Please don’t waste your or my time if you’re not a cash buyer.”
