UPDATE II: I got curious about the origin of this photo. I wondered if the story behind this marathon could be found. After examining the wagon closely, I noticed just to the right of the fellow with the hat that Hill Motor Company was in ——S, GA. After some searches, I discovered that a Kirven’s store was located in Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately, I could find no article associate with the photo on the internet or within newspapers.com.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

I wish I knew more about the story behind this photo.

    they dont mention if this wagon has the F-134 or the L-6 161 engine ? — it looks to be the new april 1950 body style — could be the same 1950 model 673 that is residing in my barn ? — my 673 is a dark root beer color with the same tan colored pin stripes on the upper body sides , hmmmm ? — ps — my willys gang has a new member –> 1946 cj-2a , early , column shift , mb front parking lights , period correct n.o.s. soft top , doors , spare frame , spare tailgates , spare hood , others , i found it near wr hearsts old country estate ( castle ) ( not san simeon ) will go nicely with my new 1946 american bantam trailer , a pretty pair ..
