This 1950 photo shows what appears to be a Holden Ambulance used during the Korean War. Anyone know widely used (or not) these were during the Korean War?

To answer your question, yes they were in use during WW II, Korea, and later stateside. The one I restored was released in the mid fifties in California. It is currently on display at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Triangle, VA. The jeep, a May of 1943 matching numbers GPW I restored had the original USMC registration number USMC 79576 as well as the original TAC markings on it. The jeep was attached to B Company, 5 th Medical Battalion, 27 th Marines, 5Th Marine Division, Fifth Amphibious Corps which was on Iwo Jima and later in the Occupation of Japan before returning stateside to Camp Pendleton. The jeep had shrapnel damage to the body which was left as is during the restoration.
I just sold a July 45 MB “Holden”. It probably was in Korea also.
