This jeep has an unusual paint job. The body appears pretty solid.

I am surprised this jeep has not sold yet, maybe the rust is worse than the pictures show. The price of CJ-5’s has increased a lot in the last few year. There is not a lot of original V8 jeeps available, and with low miles, if mileage is correct. I wonder if the stripping was some sort of dealer thing, sure looks like a 70’s California thing. Its too bad passenger fender is missing stripes, would be hard to duplicate. The exhaust system certainly has to go, needs headers and mufflers tucked up under floor boards. Jeep has some sort of brackets bolted to frame underneath doors, maybe supports for a full roll cage. Looks like a solid Jeep, but would need a close inspection.
