Mike shared this video of a brief MD Juan factory tour. The video, in part, demonstrates the scope of equipment necessary to make some of the parts. It’s not a trivial investment in stamps and computer equipment.
There should be a warning on this video to “Wear a bib before watching”. All those rust free parts caused excessive drooling.

Wow, Thats alot of willys, bodys. i wonder if its a big foreign market, i cant imagine selling that many in the USA or maybe he does

Did they fix all of the issues noted with past installations?

My sense is that there are less complaints than there were ten or more years ago. When I spoke with the MD Juan folks back in 2013 they said their intent was to listen and improve their products (they attended the 2013 Spring Willys Reunion for those reasons). I do know folks who have bought bodies over the past few years and are happy with them. However, whether “all” the issues have been corrected isn’t clear to me.
